Connectivity Around the World

Updated: Sep 10, 2018

When it comes to staying connected, the world is all ears.

No not literally, but in essence it is.

When changes in mobile plans are announced, in each country's respective network, people listen to determine if and how it will affect them, but not all at the same time. They learn about these changes, either at the moment they pay for a new phone and a plan or when switching their providers. However, there is a time lapse between those who reach for the new and those that are satisfied with their current experience.

It's not just plans that are influencing how we stay connected, it's also the type of technology that is available for users to connect into a network, that get's some to listen intently or not. It's the ability to do more with less equipment. In other words, to be able to merge the gap between one type of technology and another without buying multiple pieces of equipment just to do one task.

In order for this to happen, a percentage of the population would have to stay connected. Without the need from massive amounts of people to want to connect on a daily basis, and their requests for more upgraded technology, there would be very little to no changes in terms of evolution with far reaching capabilities.

Eventually, everyone catches up with the changes, but some get to take advantage of new emerging technology which allows them to participate in more activities that might involve talking with friends and family, and some don't until years later. The difference is, those that listen and pay attention to what is out in the market get to join faster which allows them to do more.

The choices are becoming varied and more technology is becoming common place in locations where it was virtually non-existent in the last century. But, what does this all mean?

People are listening and the more variety there is to choose from the more options people have at their fingertips. Selecting a plan or type of technology then comes down to preferences, and not just what was once available on the market.
